I'd like to start by thanking Carolyn Taylor for stepping in and organising the teams.
We had three teams jumping at summer house on Sunday in the novice section, the weather was very kind to us with lovely sunshine most of the day. There was great team spirit with Becky Read yielding her camera and managing to capture most if not all of us at some stage.
Everybody managed to meet up at some point throughout the day and have a chat, we were happy to welcome new members Anna, Jane and Tracey into the fold. With a couple hitting the deck, but thankfully no broken bones, it wasn't SVRC's day for ribbons - but there is always next time.
Well done to everyone who attended. The intermediates on Saturday were ably supported by their parents, unfortunately the heavens decided to hail on the team, so an odd rail down and a few sat nav problems they were also not in the ribbons. However, as 2 only knew they were jumping in the previous week, hats off to them.
We bid a sad farewell to team regular Sarah Highet as she is moving to faraway seas but wish her all the best for her new venture and the next chapter in her life. - Wendy Barke
