Compete for the club
There are opportunities at all levels to compete for the club. You will be competing against other riding clubs in the Area 9 area. If you or your team qualifies, you get the opportunity to complete at national championships against clubs from across the country. Dressage from Prelim to Medium and jumping from 80cm to 1.10cm.

Competitions
Dressage - On the 11th November we sent 3 teams to Summerhouse to compete in the areas, it was a great day out and very successful. We had one team placed and several members being placed individually. It was a very wet day but VWH ran the event extremely well even though the heavens opened! The teams were very grateful to the team manager Sue for her bacon butties and cake!
Arena Eventing - Our club sent out a 70cm team and several individuals to the Arena Eventing on the 17th November, the team came 3rd with clears all round and Rachel M got 3rd individually.
Ian Roff had a beautiful round to come individually 2nd in the 90cm class.
Upcoming Events:
We will soon be looking for teams for the following events;
Festival of the Horse, February the 16th and 17th at Pontispool. This consists of individual or teams, riding a show jumping and cross country on a surface at 80cm, 90cm and 1m. Please contact Ros De Ath if you are interested.
Intermediate Senior Dressage 24th February at Leyland Court, a team consists of 1 x prelim rider, 2 x Novice riders and 1 x Elementary rider. There will also be individual Medium and Adv Medium tests. If you are interested please contact Sue Jones.
Dressage to Music will be held in June this year at Burrows Court, we are planning on putting together some floor plan and music sessions, if this is something that takes your interest please contact Alex Richards.
Please remember we need helpers to enable our clubs to attend these competitions, if you can help on any of the above dates please contact Karen.
